Slab Delivery Driver

Role and responsibilities:

Responsible for the delivery of orders and material. 
Responsible for the correct loading of the vehicle following safety standards and procedures.
Drive and deliver in a safe manner while following all applicable Ontario Highway Traffic rules. 
Operate the assigned equipment in a safely manner.
Have comprehensive training and licenceing on truck boom operations
Complete truck inspections and logs. 
Communicate effectively with customers and all colleagues.  
Follow company delivery procedures.
Ensure accurate information using ELD and delivery routing software.
Must be able to work flexible hours as directed by the business needs. 
 

Skills & Requirements:

Must be DZ licenced with a clean drivers abstract from the  MTO.
·         Must be organized and self motivated 

·         Must be able to use tech provided

·         Rigor: Ensure that the work is complete and accurate; ensuring Customer Satisfaction

·         Stress management: Ability to continue to function effectively under pressure and maintain self-control.

·         Flexibility: Openness to different and new ways; willingness to change their preferred way of doing things.

·         Initiative: Identify what needs to be done and do it before it is asked or before the situation demands it.

·         Oral Communication: The ability to express oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others.

·         Written communication: The ability to express oneself clearly in professional writing.

Schedule :

5 days a week from Monday to Friday; Occasional Saturdays 
Available to work 40h per week;
Available occasionally on Saturdays.
