Igor Marziali, Master Mosaicista
Born and raised among the artists of central Italy, Igor Marziali has always focused his studies on various artistic techniques. He trained to become a specialized master mosaic artist at Italy’s academy of mosaic, La Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, where in 1996 he became an admired professor, passing on his knowledge of mosaic and terrazzo to students in their final year. Together with his students Igor creates major works of art in collaboration with artists, architects and designers of international fame.

The finesse of Italian craftsmanship has always been deeply rooted in Igor’s personality, and can be seen in each of his mosaics. His many works include:

- Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem (1996)
- WTC Ground Zero subway station in New York, U.S. (2003)
- Carnival Liberty Cruise Ship (2005)
- Parliament of Rome, Italy (2011)
